Welcome to the SMHS Music Department’s Musicianship Program. The program is designed to improve individual performance skills as well as explore areas of performance practice, aesthetics and musical form. There are 4 musicianship levels in the program (I-IV) with 12 objectives (challenges) in each level. Students are required to complete three pass/fail objectives each grading period in order to receive full credit in the program (see music department handbook/grading policy). Individual assessment will take place at the end of each grading period and will be in the form of posted recordings and written tests.
